    • Former Top-20 junior broke into Top 100 in time for 2022 year-end rankings and achieved career-high No. 33 in June 2024, after defeating No. 1 Djokovic for biggest win of career to reach 1st ATP Tour final in Geneva.
    • Defeated former champion Sock en route to 1st ATP Tour QF at 2023 Houston, then upset No. 6 Rublev en route to 2024 ATP Masters 1000 Miami QF.
    • Representing Czech Republic, defeated Sousa to reach 2021 Tokyo Olympics 2R and earned wins over Zhang at 2024 Paris Olympics in 1R and mixed doubles final to win gold medal with Siniakova.
    • Boasts 110-54 Challenger record (6-5 in finals), including back-to-back titles at Orleans and Mouilleron le Captif in October 2023.
    • Says that his favourite sports team is Chicago Bulls and his hero is Michael Jordan, who played his last game as a Bull in 1998 – 2 years before Machac was born.
