
Second seeds Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek mounted a late comeback Thursday to reach their second final of the year at the Miami Open presented by Itau.
The Croatian-American duo overcame Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz 6-4, 6-7(4), 10-7 after a one-hour, 49-minute battle on Grandstand. Dodig and Krajicek trailed 1/6 in the Match Tie-break before tallying nine of the next 10 points to advance.
After earning five team titles last year, Dodig and Krajicek are aiming for their first trophy this season. They were finalists in Dubai last month.
Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden, the top seeds in south Florida, cruised past fourth seeds Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos 6-1, 6-4 in just 53 minutes Thursday. The Indian-Aussie duo dropped just three points behind their first serves, according to Infosys ATP Stats.
The Australian Open champions are searching for their second ATP Masters 1000 crown together.
