    • Enjoys listening to music, playing the guitar and singing. Dream tennis band is John McEnroe on lead guitar, Marat Safin on drums, Bjorn Borg on the keyboard and himself on rhythm guitar and vocals.
    • Launched a YouTube Channel in 2017 for fans to follow his life on tour (youtube.com/Vasek).
    • Follows NHL teams Vancouver Canucks and Montreal Canadiens.
    • Underwentback surgery in January 2019 and missed 1st 6 months of season.

    • In 2014, achieved singles career-high No. 25 and played in 1st All-Canadian final of Open Era at Washington (l. to Raonic).
    • Also lost to Raonic in 1st ATP Masters 1000 SF at 2013 Montreal as WC, then earned biggest career win over No. 1 Murray at 2017 ATP Masters 1000 Indian Wells as Q.
    • Posted 5-set wins over Millot, Ward and Troicki en route to 2015 Wimbledon QF, then joined Auger-Aliassime and Shapovalov as 1 of 3 Canadians to reach 2020 US Open 4R.
    • Captured 2014 Wimbledon doubles title in team debut w/Sock, then reached 6 ATP Masters 1000 doubles finals w/Sock and peaked at doubles No. 4 in 2015.
    • Earned 4 doubles wins in 2022 to help Canada capture its 1st Davis Cup championship.
