    • Father has helped navigate all the difficulties and challenges being an elite level player and athlete. Mother has always been there to lend her support, positivity and love.
    • Brother is his best friend. His help and emotional support have been instrumental. The value Boyer places on family is equal to that of tennis or anything else.
    • Elizabeth competed in high jump at UCLA and the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials. Has the fourth highest jump in UCLA history, came in third at U.S. Olympic Trials.
    • Loved sport from an early age. Parents played recreationally and would wait at the door for his father to come home from work so they could play in their driveway.
    • Parents recognised his enthusiasm and began taking him to Florida to train with Rick Macci for family vacations.
    • At age 12 began training with Zibu Ncube, former Zimbabwe Davis Cup team member, who lived near Boyer in Southern California. Ncube was the most instrumental coach in his career, helping him to No. 8 in the world in juniors.
    • Started leaving home with his coach to travel at 15, playing all the junior Slams , junior Davis Cup and Youth Olympics.
    • USTA’s west-coast training facility was only 45 minutes from his house, so spent time there with his private coaches and USTA National Coaches.
    • Played college tennis at Stanford.
    • Favourite shot is forehand, surface is hard, tournament is Indian Wells and city on Tour is New York.
    • Tennis idol is Novak Djokovic. Enjoys Formula One and favourite athlete is Lewis Hamilton. Favourite sports team is the Los Angeles Lakers.
    • Favourite book and movie are both Dune, TV show is Curb Your Enthusiasm, actor is Larry David and musicians are The Beatles.
    • Hero is his father and favourite superhero is Spiderman.
    • Enjoys pool. Dream job is becoming a Formula One engineer.
    • Secret talent is knowing the conversions between basically every imperial and metric unit.
    • Favourite food is burgers and guilty pleasure is croissants.
