Started playing tennis at age 10 at the Sheraton Hotel in Buenos Aires, hitting alone against a wall. His father saw him playing and entered him into a local tournament, where he won three matches and started taking lessons soon after.
Tennis idol is Juan Martin del Potro.
Biggest influence and hero is his father, who has guided him since he started playing tennis.
