    • Owns 216-159 Challenger record (9-8 in finals), winning most recent title at 2022 Istanbul.
    • Peaked at No. 11 as a junior in 2007 and earned wins over future ATP No. 3s Dimitrov and Raonic.
    • Speaks Romanian, Russian, English and a bit of German and Spanish after training in Romania, USA, Germany and Spain.
