- Earned 2 biggest wins of career over No. 6 Cilic and No. 5 A. Zverev en route to 2018 Basel final as 93rd-ranked Q. Lowest-ranked Basel finalist since No. 100 P. McEnroe in 1994 and 1st qualifier in Basel final since Baghdatis in 2005.
- Ended 5-match losing streak in ATP Tour singles QFs by reaching 1st SF and 1st final at 2018 Sofia. Did not drop a set en route to final. Saved 5 championship points to win 1st doubles title at 2015 Bucharest as WC w/Ungur (d. Monroe/Sitak 17-15 in Match TB).
