    • Nickname is ‘Tuey’. Speaks English and Chinese.
    • Began playing tennis at age five. Brother Chen, 10 years his elder, played badminton and a coach suggested Li try tennis when he showed skill hitting a birdie.
    • Mother, Yu Ping Zheng and father, Yi Xing Tu. Brother, Chen. Wife, Kimberley.
    • Li was born in Adelaide, brother born in China.
    • Mother passed away in September 2022 following a battle with lung cancer. Li continues to push on to make his parents proud.
    • Quit tennis aged 18 due to expectations and burnout. Went to university, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Adelaide University in 2017.
    • Started a coaching business. Working with his students helped his own game and reignited his passion for the sport.
    • Favourite shot is forehand, surface is hard, tournament is Australian Open and city on Tour is Tokyo.
    • Tennis idol is Roger Federer and heroes are his parents.
    • Outside of tennis, likes AFL. Favourite sports team is Port Adelaide and athlete is Ollie Wines.

    • Favourite musician is Justin Bieber and hobby is gaming.
    • Favourite food is sushi.
    • Secret talent is that he can sing.

    • Broke into Top 200 in March 2024 and achieved a career-high No. 186 shortly after winning the M25 Traralgon title on home soil.
    • Made ATP Tour debut at 2021 Melbourne-2 as WC in his second professional tournament since retiring in 2014 at age 18, then earned first ATP Tour win at 2023 Newport, defeating No. 83 Vukic in 1R.
    • Advanced to 1st Challenger SF, final and captured first title at 2022 Seoul as Q.
    • Entered 2021 season with 5-17 record on ITF Tour, but owns 82-17 record in ITF Tour events since 2021, including 9 titles.
    • Earned 1st Grand Slam WC at 2021 Australian Open, losing to F. Lopez in four sets and qualified for 2024 US Open, saving 2 MPs vs. de Jong in final qualifying round and is set to face No. 3 Alcaraz in 1R.
