If he wasn't a tennis player, he would be a football player or a doctor.
Hobbies include playing and watching football, reading books, going to the cinema and hanging out with friends.
In December 2015, appeared on cover of Portugal's Men's Health magazine and was featured in Portugal's GQ magazine.
Named 2018 GQ Portugal Man of the Year in the Sports category.

Winner of 4 titles overall, including 2018 Estoril, where he saved 2 MPs vs. P. Sousa in 2R and was congratulated following final by Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.
