  • Career
    • Mother, Samantha, was a human resources manager at the National Health Sservice. Father, Craig, worked for Johnson Controls. Both are retired.
    • Grandparents had a big back garden that he used to play with them on when he was really young. He was either playing with a table tennis bat and a table tennis ball when he was about two, then was hitting volleys by age five.
    • Defeated Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner in the juniors.
    • Practised with Roger Federer at Wimbledon when he was a junior.
    • Spent five years at Texas Christian University (TCU), where he played college tennis.
    • Fearnley suffered a series of injuries that hindered his progress in college: a stress reaction in his rib, a torn posterior tibialis, a right rotator cuff injury, pubic osteitis in his pubic bone, a lower back injury due to a trapped nerve and “a lot” of torn abdominals.
    • In his final year at TCU, helped his team clinch the national championship.
    • Became a four-time ITA All-American for TCU and two-time qualifier for the ATP Next Gen Accelerator, which increases the development pathway for top players in the American Collegiate system by providing direct entry into ATP Challenger Tour events.

    • Unranked in July 2023, broke into Top 500 in June 2024, Top 200 in August 2024 and Top 100 in September 2024, before achieving career-high No. 86 in January 2025.
    • Made ATP Tour debut at 2024 Eastbourne as WC (l. to B. Harris in 1R), then defeated Moro Canas at 2024 Wimbledon for 1st tour-level win (l. to 7-time champion Djokovic in 2R).
    • Defeated Kyrgios and Cazaux to reach 1st Grand Slam 3R at 2025 Australian Open.
    • Posted 27-3 (0.900) Challenger record in 2024 with titles in Nottingham-2, Lincoln, Rennes and Orleans, owning highest win percentage in a season at this level since Berlocq in 2011 (min. 25 matches played).
    • Peaked at No. 27 in junior rankings, highlighted by wins over future-World No. 1s Alcaraz in 2018 Sanxenxo Grade 2 final by 6-2 4-6 7-6(12) and Sinner in 2017 Malta ITF U18 Grade 4 1R.
    • Spent five-years playing college tennis for Texas Christian University, former team of countryman Norrie, becoming four-time ITA All-American and helped his team clinch the national championship in his final year.
