- Reached career-high No. 17 on 11 January 2016 after advancing to Brisbane SF. Ranked between No. 17 and No. 26 every week during 2016 season. Fell to No. 243 on 7 May 2018 --lowest ranking since No. 246 on 28 June 2010.
- Saved 1 MP vs. Harris in 2R and 4 MPs vs. Fognini in final to win 4th career title at 2018 Chengdu as 123rd-ranked Q. Also won titles at 2013 Sydney, 2014 Bogota as 124th-ranked WC and 2015 Bogota. Earned career-high 40 victories and reached 2 ATP Masters 1000 QFs in 2015.
- Advanced to 2011 Wimbledon QF as 18-year-old Q ranked 158th. Remains youngest Grand Slam quarter-finalist since Chang, 18, at 1990 Roland Garros and lowest-ranked since No. 198 Popp at 2003 Wimbledon. Advanced to Grand Slam 4R on 5 other occasions, most recently at Australian Open and Wimbledon in 2016. Saved 2 MPs in 2015 US Open 2R win over countryman Hewitt.
- Earned 1st ranking point as 15-year-old on 28 January 2008 after Australian Open qualifying 1R win (d. Wang). Made tour-level debut at 2009 Brisbane as 16-year-old WC (l. to Verdasco). Posted 1st win a week later at 2009 Australian Open as WC (d. Starace).
- Peaked at No. 2 in junior rankings on 26 May 2008. Remains youngest Australian Open boys’ singles champion, winning title as 15-year-old in 2008. Ended junior career by capturing 2009 US Open boys' singles title, finishing with 102-25 record on ITF Junior Circuit. Swept Orange Bowl titles in 3 different divisions, winning 12s in 2004, 14s in 2006 and 16s in 2007. Did not play 18s.
