Speaks Croatian and English. Started playing tennis at age six. Father Mario is Ante’s coach since day 1 and is a head coach at local tennis club in Ogulin, Croatia. Mother, Vesna, studied economics and worked as a bank manager; Sister, Tea, was under-16 European No. 2 tennis player. Tea joined Ante’s coaching team in 2013. Favourite surface is hard and grass. Favourite shot is serve and forehand. Favourite tournament is Wimbledon. Idols growing up were Goran Ivanisevic and Pete Sampras. Hobbies include going to concerts and different sports. If he wasn't a tennis player he would be in a different sport, football or basketball...Favourite sports team is FC Barcelona...Trains in Zagreb, Croatia...Physical trainer is Ivan Tudor.
