Nearly lost an arm: "I felt a sting in my shoulder and then it turned out to be a huge deal where my artery clogged up and no more blood flowed to my arm... I guess I got lucky and it opened and the blood started flowing again."

Earned 1st ranking point at age 16 in September 2010, broke into Top 200 at age 28 in June 2022 and achieved career-high No. 170 in August 2022.
Qualified and made tour-level debut as 28-year-old at 2022 Wimbledon (l. to Tsitsipas in 1R), then earned 1st tour-level win at 2022 Gstaad as WC (d. Sousa in 1R), and qualified at 2022 US Open.
