    • Says his mother has inspired him the most: "She taught me how to play and I was hitting with her almost every day until I was 15 or 16. My earliest tennis memory was when I was four and it started raining and I was crying to her because I couldn't play."

    • Broke inside Top 100 in November 2023, Top 50 in August 2024 after reaching 3rd ATP Tour final in Winston-Salem and achieved career-high No. 41 in November 2024.
    • At 2024 Australian Open, became the youngest American man in Grand Slam 3R since Young at 2007 US Open, reaching 3R at 2024 Australian Open.
    • Earned 1st ATP Tour win and reached 1st QF, SF and final at 2023 Newport, becoming the youngest American ATP Tour finalist since Fritz at 2016 Memphis.
    • Reached 2nd final at 2024 Newport (held 1 MP vs Giron in final) and defeated former champion Carreno Busta en route to 3rd final at 2024 Winston-Salem.
    • Defeated No. 9 de Minaur for the biggest win of career in 2024 Los Cabos 2R, before squandering 3 MPs in QF against eventual champion Thompson.
    • Qualified for Next Gen ATP Finals presented by PIF in 2023 and 2024.
    • Also reached 2024 ATP Masters 1000 Cincinnati doubles final w/McDonald after defeating him in singles qualifying.
