The ATP Tour returned to Seoul for the first time since 1996 after the city was awarded a single-year licence to stage the Eugene Korea Open Tennis Championships 28-draw outdoor hard court tournament at Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center. The South Korean capital hosted a tour-level event from 1987-1996. Former Korean player, Jinsoo Lee, is the Tournament Director.
