Miami Open Unites is an annual event that brings ATP and WTA stars together to serve the local Miami community. The 2024 edition was another opportunity for the best tennis players in the world to trade their racquets for their community service hats and give back.
The players spread out away from Hard Rock Stadium to participate in several events, from volunteering at a local rescue mission to planting seeds to provide food for those in need.
Miami Rescue Mission
Hubert Hurkacz, Mackie McDonald, Holger Rune, Alexander Zverev, Caroline Garcia and Donna Vekic helped volunteers at Miami Rescue Mission, where they served dinner to those who live at the shelter as well as guests who stopped by for a meal.
The goal of the Miami Rescue Mission is to provide food, programmes and shelter to the homeless of South Florida.
