Andrey Rublev on Wednesday announced the launch of the Andrey Rublev Foundation, which will aim to provide resources and support to kids struggling with critical illness.
“I’ve been so fortunate to play a professional sport for a living and have my health,” Rublev said. “There are so many children in need of financial support for critical medical needs and being able to help them is a huge privilege for me.”
The foundation intends to serve as a resource to children with critical needs, assisting with providing access to transformative care.
The hope is to fundraise and use its resources to help change the lives of children in need and allow them to overcome the challenges they face to reach their full potential.
“I look forward to working with kids, their families and doctors and helping them face a brighter future because of the resources I am fortunate enough to provide,” Rublev said.
In December, Rublev launched a clothing company with a collection named ‘Play for the Kids’. The profit from that, more than $150,000, will serve as the initial funding of the foundation.
